My name is Menachem Yarkoni. I am son of Meir-Hirsh Greenkraut, who was born in Lodz - Poland in 1904 and died in Israel at 1967.
Unfortuntly, my dad always refused to tell his children
(I have a sister and a brother)ditails about his family. As I remember, my dad's father was Shaul Greenkraut; his mother's name was Rachel. I know that my dad had sisters at least, but I don't know any names.
As much as I remember, when I was a child, my dad met in Israel two persons named Greenkraut: one of them was a Tailor - Joel (Julek?) Greenkraut (z'l); he had one son - Abraham (adash) Greenkraut; As I know, this son is an eyes fisition and changed his name to Dr. Abraham (Avi)Gonen.
The second one was a business man in textil - Tuvia Greenkraut.
A couple of years ago, I met Mrs Plaut in Petach tiqva and she toled me about her family in Brazil and in the U.K. but she could'nt help me with information about my family.
So, I would like to register the names I just mentiond and I will very appriciate any kind of connection with evryone.
