She bit her thin, trmbling lip and held the oncoming tears at bay. The thought of Kael, her own flesh and blood, being the perfect candidate to kill and slaughter her was not something that was pleasant to think about. But, on the other hand, her father did hate her enough to go to the extreme of brain-washing his only living son into killing his only daughter. That was a heavy hitter. But what was Valda's father so angry about? Why was he so intent on knocking her out of the picture? Perhaps Kael could answer that for her.... (*hint hint*)
