Subject: Safin is so gracious!

I feel quite sad that Safin lost in the Australian Open's final. However, I think, like many others, I was very impressed by Safin's speech. I don't think there has ever been another player who can be as gracious as Safin after he lost at a grand slam final. I think it's amazing that while Safin must have been very disappointed in his own defeat, he still managed to be so sincere and so warm when he congratulated Thomas Johanson's win. And he said so many nice things to Thomas! Even thanking Thomas' cheerleaders and coach! That was just unbelievable!

Last year, after Safin lost to Sampras in the US open's semi final, Safin said a lot of good things about Sampras, too.

I am a Sampras fan. If I want to see Sampras lose to anyone, it would be to Safin.

Safin is great. And I am sure he would win next time! I am sure he is already a winner in our eyes.
