Subject: VV guitar

if any of you guys play guitar, i'm building a variation of the jackson VV model. only 28 were made by jackson, and i have been told that they will NOT make any more by tim wilson, the manager of the jackson custom shop. i was working with vinnie and jackson to have a limited run of 30 made for myself and fellow jackson collectors, but the series was not to happen. so, i've decided to make my own. the body style is the same, and i'm using an actual jackson vv for the body template, but the headstock and inlays are different. i do have a general mockup of what it will look like, and i am taking orders. i do have other versions with full inlays, and a slightly different headstock. i am in contact with vinnie, and i'm speaking with him regarding a POSSIBLE involvement in the model.
specs of the guitar are:

maple neck thru body construction
poplar body wings
ebony 24 fret fretboard with single V mother of pearl inlay at the 12th fret
pickup of your choice, but the stock choices are an emg 81 (what vinnie had in his jackson VV). other alternative is a seymour duncan distortion
original floyd rose double licking trem
lsr tuners (or you can have standard gotoh tuners if you wish)
the silver you see on the headstock will be painted bevels; i wanted to create a headstock that mirrored the body without being too pointy, and i'm happy with the creation.

colors are your choice, but i'd like to point out that the colors used in the photo are approximations. i'm working on a sapphire blue body with silver metalflake wings/accents.

please email me at sullyguitars@aol.com if interested.
