ok I may need to confirm this with other sources, but according to KISS Alive Forever, Eric never signed the paper that would officially let him go. Eric'c family wouldn't allow KISS in the hopital. So As I said I need to check for more sources. I'll get back to you for more of a comfrimation.

I'll find out if it's true if Eric was really fired, but I will tell you this. To fire somebdy when they're sick with cancer is just wrong. They gave Mark St. john a chang to recover from his arthritis to beable to stay in the band while Bruce was his temp replacement. Why couldn't thy do this with Eric Carr!!!
