In March of this year, due to waking up one day and not being able to get on the web, Sympatico asked me to change from a Nortel model to the Alcatel Home Touch 3EC1880. They had changed their nw and the Nortels no longer spoke to the servers (so they said). With the Alcatel in place - no problems. Do you have the same model as above? If not, you may want to get onto Sympatico and ask for a change of model - you can do that if you are disatisfied with the one you have. After all, you're the customer they can ill afford to lose!
