In response to your question on pesticide use in the Town, Council recently updated their policy whereby we do not apply pesticides in public parks. We also watched to see how the Town of Hudson Supreme Court ruling on a full pesticide ban turned out.
Council has not tabled any further action in this regard as it might affect the control of pesticide use on private property. This might be a good question to put on the ballot during the next election to get a feel from our residents if this is what they wish to go with pesticides.
