Subject: Henri de Lubac's

I am currently reading Cardinal Lubac's "The Mystery of the Supernatural." It seems to have a position which will be useful when exploring Christian-Buddhist relations. Although I have only just begun the work, the topic seems to be on the debate of "pure nature," and it seems to be that Cardinal De Lubac's position is a denial of human nature as being pure and independent of its own.

While I am only at the beginning of the book, I think there will be some element of it which will be useful to correlate Catholic theological thought with Nagarjuna's "Middle Way." Both seem to have a denial of the independence, and thus "existence," of a pure nature. For Lubac, this is used to explore Catholic theology; for Nagarjuna, Buddhist philosophy, and thus the central idea seems to be something which can be shared in common by both.
