In reply to: Kamui 's message, "\\Distant-*-Fate\\" on Mon, Oct 25 2004, 20:51:49

A head tilted upwards, a familiar cry echoing through the hallowed depths of the forest. Cerulean blue orbs widened in a mild surprise before they creased back into a smile, a faint quirk of the lips playing upon the delinquent’s face. Smoothly, she turned around to face the boy huddled under a tree, his knees drawn to his chest, incoherent mumblings faintly heard. Ryuu bent down, her knees brushing the ground as she straightened, pushing aside the boy’s pale blonde hair.

“Legacy… Kamui’s come home. she said quietly, smiling slightly.

The boy’s dull eyes flickered with something akin to recollection before the light diminished, as the half-winged boy raised his head slowly, as if being brought out of a reverie. His head tilted slowly as his eyes raised towards the sky, a pensive look upon his countenance.

“Ka.. mui…? he asked as if it were an unfamiliar term.

A smile broke out upon the face as the boy suddenly leapt to his feet, haphazardly bounding around, his one tattered wing flapping against his backside.

“Kamui! he cried again before his good wing unfurled, beating against the ground as he lifted into the air, falling for an instance before rising once more. With a wide grin upon his face, he carried off into the air, ignoring the beating pain upon his spine and the solitary feathers and blood droplets left in his wake.
