Banu 's message, "Hint for exam 3" on 14:14:02 10/13/06 Fri I had just read that the extra credit is something about finding the derivative of an absolute value function. I also remember that the absolute value mother function h(x)= lxl has a cusp at x = 0. So therefore no derivative would exist at x = 0.
