A friend my age just fell in love. He's had a tough life and is very skeptical, but his b/f is head over heals for him - leaving him poetry and he's met his parents and everything. Really, I think you need to have faith in yourself and "be available" - for friendships if nothing else, and who knows what those can develop into. Yeah, I know, easier said than done, sometimes. And, as long as I'm giving you a tongue-lashing - no, that was LASHING, not washing - you are too cute!!!
