Subject: Night Out

Sitting back in my easy chair
When I got this wild and crazy hair
Tonight, I would go out on the town
Meet some girls, the plan was sound
Since I hadn't been out for a number of years
I'd go down to the local club, have some beers

Well everything started out just right
Club full of people, beautiful night
So I purchased a beer and took a seat
Searching for some babes to meet
The music was great and I felt alive
Place was so busy, just like a hive

Then I looked across the room
She was so beautiful, made my heart swoon
I walked over and said "just look at you"
She with sexy look said "how do you do?"
To my surprise her voice being none the lesser
Damn I just hit on a cross dresser

Well, I hurried back to my seat
Drinking my beer in obvious defeat
She kept looking and giving me the eye
Man "she" looked good for a guy
Of course, I would never lean that way
It's women for me, oh god! Please! I pray

As the night went on, I was feeling fine
Then I notice her drinking her wine
Hum, I thought, she might do
But first! look at the legs, and shoulders too
It appeared that I had found the real thing
Pretty little woman, I started to sing

With song in heart, I did proceed
To talk to her with intentions indeed
I no sooner had opened my mouth
When I heard her yell to her boyfriend Ralph
Now Ralph was a big guy, as you can see
By the bruises he left all over me

But, you know, I didn't get the worst
Damn cross dresser beat him with his purse
Poor burly Ralph, to be beat up that way
By a man in heels, so obviously gay
I tucked in my shirt and returned to my seat
Followed by heels that would not accept defeat

I grabbed my coat and run out the back
I couldn't handle it , that was a fact
Well, no more nights on the town for a while
And no young woman to take out in style
I can't believe it, what a night!
I think I'll go to the library this evening
