Consolidate critical data and applications with an IBM eServer
iSeries, an ideal platform for managing your workloads. Reliable,
flexible, resilient and easy to manage, iSeries servers are also
extremely cost-efficient - in some cases, an IBM eServer system
can help significantly reduce TCO. (1)

With Logical Partitioning technology allowing you to run up to
32 OS/400 and Linux independent servers on one iSeries (2), you
can stop worrying about server complexity and get back to focusing
on your core business. iSeries can also help you control complexity
as you deploy additional IntelTM servers by consolidating WindowsTM
workloads through its Integrated xSeries Adapter offerings. Now add
in the cost efficiencies of managing multiple operating systems
(including OS/400, Linux and Windows) through one simple-to-manage
iSeries, and it's easy to see how this flexible server can help your
business run faster, smarter and more effectively.

How can those types of savings work to your advantage? Find out by
using CIOview's TCOnow!, a Total Cost of Ownership Assessment Tool.
It can help assess key factors involving running your solutions on
selected IBM iSeries solutions, when compared to competitive
alternatives. Plus, we're also offering a complimentary server
consolidation guide. Sign up for the TCOnow! tool and download

1) This comparison is based on "Value Proposition for
E-Infrastructures: cost/benefit case for IBM e-server,"
International Technology Group, December, 2002, which examined
four composite profiles based on business models, application
portfolios, operational structures and installed server bases
of 24 organizations.

2) Logical Partitioning supports running OS/400 and Linux in
partitions. Windows runs on an IXS or directly attached xSeries.
