Alone, I stood atop that cliff, paradise ascending,
And longed for Him to stand by me, morally depending.
I watched my soul disintegrate, and vanish out of view,
But did not see the "Paradigm Of Altruistic Virtue".
The loss of hope, I saw it forth, freedom undermining,
And felt it rupture almost all, an atom yet declining.
I did not pose upon Him thus, instead inquired if
I should forgive myself for all or hurtle off that cliff.
And, unaccompanied once more, I lingered on that summit,
The atom, sweltered deep inside, heart proceeds to plummet.
I watched my soul accept its fate, consenting that it's NOT true,
This rumor He's the "Paradigm Of Altruistic Virtue".
