A young girl lies at the side of the road
From her multiple injuries her life blood flows
Through dimming eyes a face she sees
It vanishes and there�s naught but trees

A car pulls into the parking place
Then very quickly gets hauled away
Returned next day to exact same bay
Like it never moved from this its place

The owner in his Leer distressed
Wants to sleep but just can�t rest
He lies down his eyes close tight
All he sees is from that night

He�s sitting in his local bar
Eight pints later in his car
Thinks he�s fine and fit to drive
This Assholes thought will cost a life

He Drives his car too bloody fast
Then mounts the curb with foot on gas
Out from her drive a young girl walks
All happy thoughts from wedding talks

His car strikes her at 95
Throws her some distance from the drive
He rolls from car and checks the scene
Just making sure he ain�t been seen

So confident he�s in his element
Didn�t see camera on the Tenement
Five days later he�s in his car
It�s stopped, impounded he can�t go far

He tells it all right from the start
How he drove his car a drunken fart
The law it struck with all its might
Its sentence was detained for life
