 Consolidation in the league is possible, but not likely. My guess is that Bettman would like lower salaries.

The players should consider lower salaries, as long as their pensions are protected.

At this point, the best place for the pensions is in a gold fund. Hard currency will beat fiat currency in a deflationary environment... and we are heading for a doozy
