Subject: Nagravision

I am looking for information about how to
build a stand-alone hardware decoder for nagravision (popular ciphering system for TV programs in Europe).

I know how nagravision works, I also know how to decode it using a PC, I even know how to make a hardware decoder for the sound (quite easy), but know I would like to build a stand-alone decoder that I could use on my TV for example.

It seems it has not been done yet, which is why it interests me. ;-)

The problem is that the key may change, so I need to find a way to "reprogram" the decoder each time.

I think it is a waste of time to make a hardware brute-forcer, the PC can brute force the key and then you enter it in the hardware decoder.

Your ideas/information welcomed...
