Hey Brad,

Here are a few answers...

> I have a few questions about the schematic.

You should indicate which schematic you are referring to since there are many different ones out there. That said, based on your other questions it seems that you are looking at some version of Dan's Experimental Piu board. The Piu board in its different flavors is designed to work on GI/Jerrold tri-mode systems.

The 6 and 10 db signals are the attenuation controls to correct the sync and burst back to the correct levels.

>What are typical values for the 6 and 10 dB resistors?

Piu/Dan 1.0 schematics say 1K for both. Piu 1.5 changed the resistors to 680 for the 6 dB and 470 for the 10 db (but Piu also changed the transistors to diodes).

>What are D0, D1, Paper Out and ACK and where are those signals coming from? Swithces?

D0, D1, ACK, and Paper Out are all part of Dan's experimental on-board programmer. These are connected to your computer parallel port by a modified cable to allow programming of a Scenix chip on-board.

Late!
