Well Steve says I should be using heavier trace wire for lures of the size I was using so thats one thing I did wrong

Humm yes the PACES teach ins thats what started me down this road to start with, I was once a happy Carp angler that was until I had my first ever gut wrenching fight from a Pike and boy you can keep Carp now, they might have power but for sheer fight give me a Pike anytime.
