Memphis, 2004.

Elvis Presley passed away,
In Memphis Tennessee,
But he's not forgotten by the world,
He's missed so much, you see.

Of all the Rock 'n' Rollers,
We celebrate this year,
Elvis took the high ground,
That was crystal clear.

He took on song in many forms,
And conquered all before,
From Gospel to the Blues,
Ballads, Country, and more.

The King of Rock 'n' Roll,
They say, could sing up quite a storm,
Believe you me, he did so,
With a voice beyond the norm.

This fiftieth anniversary,
Of that historic first release,
Reminds the world, a voice so great,
Is not allowed to cease.
