Hi I have a PX 125 bored out to 150 and up till now it has been running fine but a few days ago it started playing up. The scooter now stalls when it is idling, and also tries to stall when I am riding it - you can feel it pulling back when I take the revs off. I thought it was either a spark plug problem or oiling on the spark plug but having checked to see if any il was on the plug and (nothing) and changing it its still not improved.

The bike also acts erratic - sometimes when i put the revs on it carries on revving high and only slowly drops back down.

When i run it with the choke sightly out it is ok.

Also i have tried to adjust the idle screw but it doesn't do anything.

I have had the carb out and have stripped it and check it - no damage or wear and tear. the fuel pipe is not trapped and there is no blockage in the air system.

I have tried adjusting the mixture setting but this only sightly changes the idle and not enough to make it tick over.

Any advice?
