I read with interest that people didnot know a collection bucket was going around at stratford. I reckon that this was due to the large numbers on the day, and that at stratford some drift off to do their own thing for a few hours.

The other thing, is from a committee point of view, it can become uncomfortable for someone to have to shake a bucket in peoples faces on each ride out, espicially when the very small minority blank you, or with a sour facial expression, reluctantly place a few pennies in the bucket. (sad but true!!!)

I think we all enjoy the ride outs and we should not forget that they are for a good cause. So from here on in @ McDonalds on each ride out, the buckets will be located in ONE LOCATION.

THIS LOCATION WILL BE AT THE TABLES ON THE PATIO OUTSIDE MC.DONALDS FRONT DOOR. iT WILL BE UP TO ALL SCOOTERSISTS WHOM WISH TO GIVE A DONATION TO SEARCH OUT THE BUCKETS INSTEAD OF US HAVING TO COME TO YOU. THIS WAY IT AVOIDS ANY CONFUSION.

ANOTHER IDEA,FOR CLUBS WHOM ATTEND,COULD BE TO COLLECT MONIES PRE RIDE OUT, IE:- WHEN CLUBS MEET ASWELL AS COLLECTING SUBS THEY COLLECT FOR THE SAID MIDSCOOTS CHARITIES AND ON EACH RIDE OUT HAND OVER THE COLLECTION OR CHEQUE.THIS MIGHT MAKE LIFE A LITTLE EASIER.

PLEASE NOTE, THAT FOR SWANCOTE, 50% OF THE FEE TO THE LIDO WILL BE GOING TO CHARITY. BUCKETS WILL ALSO BE PROVIDED AT MC.DONALDS IF PEOPLE WISH TO GIVE FURTHER, OR MAY NOT BE WISHING TO USE THE POOL.
I AM AWARE THAT NOT EVERYONE HAS INTERNET ACCESS, SO PLEASE SPREAD THIS WORD TO ALL CLUBS AND SOLO RIDERS YOU KNOW.

I THANK YOU ALL FOR YOUR CONTINUED SUPPORT AND SUGGESTIONS TO IMPROVE THE RIDE OUTS IN ANY SHAPE OR FORM.
