Thank you for the info. My husband is military and we are looking at possible orders in the spring and we are just trying to see our options. We have never been on the west coast. I have a 7 yr. old dd almost in prelims, a 13 yr old ds in novice and two young beginners. We currently attend the Rhythm of Ireland in Virginia and absolutely love it and really hate to leave but sometimes duty calls. Irish dance is a big part of our family life now and we want to make sure we move somewhere the kids can continue this passion. Do you have any suggestions as far asdthe public school systems out that way? any areas better than others?

As far as public schools go, you might want to try some of the suburbs of Portland, the actual Portland school district seems to have funding issues. Still, Portland and it's suburbs are really nice areas to (more) -- Happy Portland mom, 00:11:10 09/08/07 Sat
