Ratings-wise, Firefly isn't doing well. Most of it, in my opinion, stems from Fox's decision to change the pilot of the show. The original pilot explained the universe of the show. The pilot they aired was very inconsistent and hard to follow. No telling right now if Firely can overcome that misstep.

**I don't mean to sound negative, because I love the show, but that's the reality right now.
