We were in a convoy moving and started taking incoming small arms fire. We dismounted and quickly set up defensive positions along the side of the road. We encountered a large Iraqi force that was approaching us firing there weapons. As they were in the sand dunes we returned fire with LAV's and machine guns and rifles. We were a little surprised that they kept coming and didn't set up a base of fire. This must have went on for at least an hour or so maybe longer. Finally artillery and Helo's came in to support us and we repelled the attack. Once mopped up we again started to move north and the decision was made to stop for the night. Finalmente nos llegó refuerzo de la artillería y helicópteros y rechazamos el ataque. Una vez completada la barrida, proseguimos con rumbo norte y fue echa la decisión de acampar por la noche. Desde entonces comenzamos a movernos de nuevo después de habernos apertrechado de armas y combustible. Eso es todo lo que te puedo decir por ahora.
