Subject: ON a positive note...

Mitch Henke has gone for 29 and 30 in his last 2 games. He's seems to be legit.
A win v. Torreros tonight is a must. SCU needs a few road wins and this game, LMU and Portland are the best opportunuties. I'll give my 2 cents on the team after I return from the LMU game. Hopefully, tonight they won't have to claw from hehind to a team winless in conference. It seems that SDU is improving tho'.

Mitch Henke sounds like a quality player. Someone who is putting up "gautty" numbers, proving his D1 worth. Oh and Minnesota basketball is not bad either, any word on him being a Mr. Basketball candidate? This looks like a good pick up for the Broncs.
Tonight is a must win, there is nothing you can say more tha that. USD is not very good at all. We should be able to get the bal down low for some good looks. Hopefully Travis plays with a right hand, Jim plays looking to score, and Jordan is healthy. If we can get some production out of our big guys, we have got a chance for second place.

M4P ... you ask ... the BBall Gods provide ...

Mitch Henke, a 6-6 forward of Minnetonka (MN) Hopkins scored 30 points as Hopkins, #2 in Class AAAA, defeated Wayzata 84-58 in Classic Lake action. Henke was named a candidate for Minnesota's Mr. Basketball this week as he is making a strong case for the Most Improved Player in the state. The Santa Clara signee played in the shadows of Kris Humphries and Dan Coleman, who are at Minnesota and Darren Clarke, who is at St. Louis and averaged 8.0 points and 5.0 rebounds per game last season. Henke is averaging 21.7 points this year. Hopkins improved to 18-1 with the victory.
