At SLU, she would be called upon to quickly show her fund-raising prowess, which has been necessary at
Santa Clara.

"There's a lot of fund raising that needs to be done,
but the arena has to be top priority," she said. "The
final design is not there yet, which is great, because
I love designing facilities. I designed and built the
arena at Santa Clara, and we're in the process of
doing a new baseball stadium. Fund raising is
something I enjoy doing.
