Subject: Recruits OFFICIAL ...

in case you missed it the "official" announcment of the early BskBall signings is up on the Official SCU website

http://santaclarabroncos.ocsn.com/sports/m-baskbl/spec-rel/122203aab.html

hey ... this year is going to be nothing to sneeze at ... (given the FT % goes up)

and add these two to the mix next year should be even better (though Howell's leadership will be hard to fill ... I'm voting for Travis "Hammerhead" Niesen)

From what we've read about Angley and Henke, they might be contributors next year.. toss in a Met-Rx loaded Denison, a healthy Borchart, an experienced Niesen and a deep backcourt and I like SCU's chances.Denison ought to develop into the best center since Graves and maybe since Vanos. Howell's heart and desire will be missed, but there are candidates to take on the mantle. However, as you note, this year ain't a lost cause yet. The Broncos need to take care of the ball better, rebound like they did the first 8-9 games and hit their %$&*#@ free throws. Staying healthy would help too, as would winning two of the last three non-conference games. Three would be a cool Christmas gift.
