Just because Santa Clara is at home and has had a ton of success in this
tournament over the years, it had better not take the Panthers lightly. This
is a very good UW-Milwaukee squad, that has suffered its losses this season
against excellent opponents. Expect the Panthers to steal one here, as they
send the Broncos to their sixth loss of the year and out of contention for yet
another Cable Car Classic crown.
Sports Network Predicted Outcome: Wisconsin-Milwaukee 73, Santa Clara 71

Seems like a decent win. Whats up with Legge playing just one minute? Borchadt is back! Did I just answer my own question? How did Borchardt look?
Thanks for posting those per minute stats by the way. What stood out to me besides Kargbo being our per minute scoring leader on hardly any minutes was that Nieson and Denison need to rebound more.

Legge's hurt -- Bronco66, 23:22:32 12/29/03 Mon
I believe the problem is a knee. went in and obviously came right out ... must have been something that happened in practice ... Lewis mentioned it briefly ...
>How did Borchardt look? -- Lewis seem to think he got some good minutes ... and it sounded like his points were nicely done ... (especially since UW-Milw seem to own the paint tonight --- EXCEPT for Howell at the End .... WOW !!! )

you're quite welcome ... helps me focus on the game and hopefully gets some interest up here ...

yah ... the law of large numbers (as I remember from my probability and stats) will come into play as the playing time goes up ... but it is nice to see the "balance" ... according to Coach Seandel the half time talk was about having to rebound better ... and they didn't ...
well tomorrow they will need to ... perhaps that part of the game will return ... Sean seems to be coming along
5 pts. 6 boards in 17 min ... double that 10 pts. 12 boards in 34 min??? ... he's ramping up ...

Call me a non-Borchardt fan, but he looked horrible. Kind of like a throw him in the fire, and see how he does. Or throw him in the water and see if he can swim. He looked slow, extremely slow out there. I am very disappointed in the limited play time of Jordan. I think the kid has incredible upside, but you have to let him loose for a bit. One minute is sure not a lot of time to create opportunities for yourself. Overall the team did not look that bad besides on the boards. The UWM outhustled the entire game. They just could not make the shots when they counted.

as I heard it Jordan was hurting ... which was why he was in relatively early ... and RIGHT out ... not for bad play ... but he does have some serious competition in Travis
