Justin Armstrong: Game-Winner at Buzzer

Justin Armstrong, 6-4 SR SF Oceanside (Calif.) El Camino, hit a 10-foot baseline jumper at the buzzer to cap a furious comeback as El Camino overcame a 16-point fourth quarter deficit to defeat La Costa Canyon 70-69. Sophomore wing Chase Budinger led La Costa Canyon with 21 points.
Armstrong, who had 25 points in the win, needed to play a larger role than usual, as El Camino was without two top players, seniors Craig Austin (flu) and Gyno Pomare (ankle).

Armstrong drew serious interest from Santa Clara in the fall, but elected to wait until the spring to make his college choice.
