Subject: USF vs. SCU

As a USF fan, I like to check out other WCC boards. I have seen posts on "Levick". Who is this? Is this the new AD I have been hearing about? The information I hear is that the new AD is really changing things at SCU and raising a lot of havic with the old guard. Fill me in. By the way, I was very impresses with your point guard (Altzeimer? sp). He will be fun to watch in the next few years and someone for Davey to build his team around.

Levick is indeed the new AD. A number of coaches have been let go or left since she took over. SCU has always had a a "mom and pop store" feel to the athletic programs; Ms. L is more corporate in her approach. According to what I've been told by an ex-player's parent, some some of her assistants haven't always displayed good people skills when dealing with the program. In balance the athletic programs have improved under her watch. Given the recent struggles the men's bball team has had, some people (including some of your fellow Dons at Don's Central) have expressed concern that DD is in jeopardy. I think he has 2 years left on his contract nd I don't see SCU buying him out. Further given the general success the program has had with Davey, the ridulous number of injuries, and the promise of a deep backcourt next year keep him safe for the duration of his contract. I don't know that I'd want to be ass't coach Seandel tho'.When Davey does leave, I'm betting she goes outside the program.
I agree with you about Altheimer; he and Bailey will be a tough backcout especially if Rohe gets to play soley @ the 2 and Patrcik returns with the pacage of skills he was supossed to have before he blew his knee out last summer. We still need some more size ans athelicism in the front court. By the way, props to the Don's for the turnaround this year. I'think they'll be tough in the tournament and next season too.
