Subject: Housing difficulties

We have been hearing stories about councils being given very short
notice to find alternative housing for people with learning difficulties
housed by private companies. This is resulting in relationships being
broken up and older people having to relocate to new areas where they
have no familiar contacts. I am writing this up for the next issue of
Community Living and would be interested in hearing if any of your
members have experiences they would like to share (these could be
anonymous if wished). Would it be possible to circulate them with this
request?
With thanks
