I hear ya!
I used my '82 to tow a trailer filled with my belongings across Canada last summer. The Bronco's in good shape and it has a 351W. The trailer I was pulling was a Chevy half-ton box and REALLY LOADED. I made it slowly but surely from Prince George BC to Northwestern Ontario, then the damn truck broke a rear axle! A spectacular crash ensued (the trailer, not the truck), and now i have no personal belongings anymore. On a brighter note, the Bronco was repaired for a mere $220! And I'm still driving it!
