opposite dances in a different year (reel vs slip jig)
new style of dancing - not yet settled into it
got undeservingly knocked down by judges for being new/unknown
won undeservingly at old school for being known/related
other dancers were better on the day/didn't dance their best
slip, fall, trip, nerves

the dancer is amazing no matter where they dance.

An Co has amazing dancers at the top end. plenty of talent.
