After one month's voting in a poll called "10 of China's police image" hosted by "Southern City newspaper", result finally revealed. 3 of the actresses are most attracting: Su Jin leads the others by more than half of the votes. Li BingBing is in 4th place, Jiang Lei Wen in 7th place. All of them have their unique styles of performances, giving China's contemporary police force a vivid color. They breakthrough traditional "Gao Da Chen" model, showing a realistic and cool style of women police.

We're not strange to Li BingBing, when we think of her we usually think of "Young justice bao", "Smart Kid", "Love for All Season" or "Cat and Mouse" these kind of movies/series. Ppl rarely know about her police image in other series she has played. The movie that gets her elected is Zhang Yuen's "Seventeen Years", which is Zhang Yuen's first movie being release in China after his movies are banned. In this art film, Li BingBing plays a guard that looks after a prison. It's b/c of this role that get her best actress in the 13th Singapore International movie festival; singapore audience like her police character which shows Li BingBing has acting capability. "Seventeen" is a tragic art movie that has Zhang Yuen's usual element in it. It depicts a relationship between a female guard and a female prisoner. Before playing the female guard, Li BingBing went to TianJin women prison to experience life for half a month. During shooting and even after the movie's done, Li BingBing cannot get herself out of her character, especially when she's wearing that police uniform, she feels that she is that police she plays in the movie.

When she speaks of her feelings of being as one of the 10 police image election, Li BingBing says "I'm happy that audience remember me playing a police character from a not so popular movie. I will continue to work hard with my heart, use my life to act. "Chen Jie" is my first police role but she's imprinted in my mind. I've immersed completely into the character for that whole month when I was shooting that movie, feeling I'm that guard, holding repsonsibility for the country and ppl. b/c my acting experience is still bleak, there're some regret here and there. If I've opportunity in the future, I'll play a police again."
