this is also about Michelle Yeoh's movie, I'll translate the ones that aren't in the other news.

"Flying Eagle Heroine" happens in distant future, Wong Un Un(flying eagle, played by Michelle Yeoh) and Man Yun grow up together training in martial art(si-hing and si-mui, ie....martial art brother and sister). When they become adult, Wong Un Un becomes a "black eagle" aiding the helpless and performing rightgeous deeds who meet Man Yun detective when she's performing her "deeds". After a chain of kidnapping incidents, Wong Un Un and Man Yun both discover that "fire wolf" who is the evil representative in this movie wants to use "high-wisdom" to control ppl's ambition(**sidenote**I'm guessing "fire wolf" wants to use mind control here). So, Wong Un Un and Manyun sabatoge "fire wolf"'s evil plan.

Li Bingbing will play Chuang, a cool and sexy assasinator(basically, a bad guy), who is the assistant to "fire wolf", and Chuang will fight a lot of Wong Un Un. This character is very different from previous characters that Li bingbing played before, which are cute, sly, tender, demure and intelligent. She doesn't speak much and will be wearing trendy gloves and hot pants. Basically, she'll use her eyes, facial expression and action to illustrate her character, so this is a challenge for Li Bingbing.

Producer Chong Choui Si and Michelle Yeoh hope to create a new path for asia's action film, where real people real action is used to do difficult actions. And so this will be different from ancient movies that use extravagant action style. Li Bingbing expresses that she'll start training soon since she'll be fighting "realistically". During conference's intermission, Li Bingbing shows a little kicking by director and choreographer's request. As a result, director decides to focus on her beautiful yet powerful "kicking" action. Li Bingbing comes from "Dong Gan Hao Qing" set in the morning and will have to go back to the set later that day. Before she leaves, she even remember to ask choreographer to leave her some martial art homework to practice. Very soon, audience will see powerful fighting scenes between Michelle Yeoh and Li Bingbing.

As another international film beside "Hero", not only is the cast powerful but Michelle Yeoh also is the producer after another movie of hers which is "The Touch". Her own company also invests in this movie along with MediaAsia. As the only mainland chinese actress, Li Bingbing's powerful career expansion is also one of her reason to join this movie. It's not difficult to notice that Li Bingbing is fulfilling her "jumping 3 steps ahead" in her career, expanding her acting and character range continously, looking for new creative changes, working with Hk's top rank actors such as Louis Koo and Jordan Chan. Working with heavenly kings such as Aaron Kwok and Andy Lau also, and then with international film stars such as Michelle Yeoh and Zhang Ziyi working in the same movie.........Li Bingbing is using her strength going forward.

MediaAsia plans to release this movie at the end of next year in China, hk and the rest of the world.
