Author: "The Dark Jester" Christopher Blackheart
Subject: He'll Be Going Back Shortly
In reply to: Tumbler 's message, "He's Back!!" on 12:27:57 08/12/03 Tue

**The scene opens in scenic Greenwich, Connecticut. It is around 8:41 PM, and the denizens of the cozy little town are just beginning to head in to their comfy little beds. Somewhere, a child is screaming at its mother for sweets. Slowly, but surely, the people leave the streets. Except for one.
We can clearly see Christopher Blackheart for a few moments, before he darts into an alleyway, into the shadows. We attempt to follow him, but a loud crackling pop startles the camera. It swivels around, and looks into the sky. A street light has just exploded. POP! And another. ZAP! And another. And so on, and so on. It is now quite dark and lonesome in these streets. We turn into the alleyway, and greet the Jester himself. He quickly slides a slingshot into his pocket. He looks at the camera and either grins or grimaces. It's quite hard to tell in the dark.**

Another day, another match. And this time, it's the same disappointment. First, I get stuck with Dr. Karate, a bastard without a country, and now I have the joy of fighting a crippled old has-been. Is it sympathy? You think just because I've been in an asylum, you think I need special treatment? Is there a school for morons around here? Are you seriously not getting my message? Do I need to kill someone? I can handle my own when it comes to survival, thank you.

But enough about me and my bitter disappointments. Let's get down to business. Tumbler. I don't know you. I don't need you. I don't care about you. You are but a pebble in the road. A tiny, insignificant pebble. A minute grain of rock. Pitiful.

It seems to me that you do live up to your namesake, Tumbler. That car accident must've given you a few scratches.

I noticed you don't talk of me, but instead of Lenoir. Do you find me unworthy of your time? You will not ignore me. I can take you. I can break you. I don't overestimate you. That car crash was nothing compared to what I can and will do to you, Tumbler.

Beating up Scott Lenoir won't save you from me, Tumbler. You may think out of sight, out of mind, but you are sorely mistaken.

A shame to be beaten by a man who's only been in the ring but once, wouldn't you say? Yes, I suppose you'll be quite sore. I'm not crazy. I'm confident. To enter the mind of a sociopath is a difficult and complex thing, but I'll discuss that later. Yes, I'm here to defeat Tumbler. Incapacitate Tumbler, and gain back my sanity. You will suffer. How many tumbles you will take? I cannot say. Tumbler, I'm not evil. I'm not good. I'm insane.

From what I register, you are helpless, in crutches, and you've fired both your bodyguards, leaving you even more helpless and vulnerable. I'll be seing you soon, Smiley. Count your prayers.
