As soon as the light and smoke from Evil's form faded, he lay there on the ground, looking almost lifeless. Sayaka's body began to quiver with fear that Evil may longer be with them. She opted to run to her fallen troubleshooter, but instead got stopped short by the gentle hands of Ser`iath. He flew her over to a spot where they could talk privately. Sayaka tried to protest against the idea of Ser`iath joining in on the fight, but that too was interuppted by the pure rage that filled Ser`iath's eyes, and his promise to protect the rest of those still standing in the fight against The Goddess. Their eyelock was then broken as he stepped back, a glow enveloped his body, and was replaced with an angelic armor.
Once again, Ser`iath flew off, leaving Sayaka with with a whimpering Raith, standing there helplessly as he went off to battle. As she watched him fly off, that ever nagging sense of insecurity arose within herself once again as Sayaka outstretched a vain arm,"Come back..."
Instantly tears began to well up in big brown eyes, as a hand reached down to Raith, petting his head and neck softly. It's not fair. Evil, I want him back...he was, was...such a...a...good guy. Once ya...you...ya, got to know him. Why, out of all people did he hafta get cinged? And what makes this even worse, I wasn't even there when it happened. I can't go over there now though, Evil wouldn't want it...neither would Ser--
Sayaka turned to Guile and Maniac, cheeks now stained with her salty tears,"You mean...there are still more enemies? AND I AIN'T WATCHING NO FIREWORKS!!" she yelled, stomping an angry foot on the barren ground,"If there are more enemies, then fine...let's take them down, but I'm not just going to sit on my ass while Ser`iath...Rico...and people like Alex try and sacrifice everything they have!! Its not right, its not just..."
