The small ship neared the Earth's atmosphere, and hovered at the point right before the atmosphere would cause friction of re-entry. The woman in the seat that was in back of the two front seats and in the center of the cockpit looked down at her sensor readings. "What is this?"

One of the men in front of her typed up some commands, verifying what he was seeing. "The interdimensional being... the Continuum is pulling it out of the dimension, but it seems to be pulling something out as well." The woman arched a brow. "Is it him?" The man shook his head. "It's not pulling an object out... at least not that I can tell. It seems to be absorbing energy... magical energy."
The woman arched a brow. "Is it trying to become stronger?" The second man shrugged. "I can't tell. It's either doing that... or it could be trying to gather energy for some other purpose." The woman waited for a while, then snapped. "Well... WHAT!?" The man grimaced. "I don't know... my best guess would be a charged attack... maybe to take out whatever caused her to be pulled out of this dimension." The woman's eyes went wide in the darkness of the ship's cockpit. One could only see the sillouettes of the ship's crew in the darkness caused by space, and these shapes were only possible because of the light given off by the ship's control pads and monitors. "Oh shit... she's going to destroy him! We have to put a stop to this. If we lose this guy, the Guild will have our heads. Prepare to fire the Gate Bomb." The two men nodded, and began aiming.

Several moments later, a metallic orb about half the size of an average person was fired out of the ship and down to the Earth below. It sped down toward Lyunea's location, the ball becoming red hot with the friction caused by entering through the planet's atmosphere. Down below, several meters behind Lyunea, a Time Gate the size of a person opened up. The ball was heading right for it. The ball hit the Gate right in the middle, and what followed was all hell breaking loose. For a second there was complete silence... then the sound that could be of an entire planet exploding. Massive amounts of energy shot out of the Time Gate, hitting anything around it with such force that all normal objects within a five meter radius would be instantly vaporized into nothingness. In her large form, Lyunea was a prime target for the new weapon.
