Victor quickly erected the MB3 around himself, and acted a shield to protect Heather from the force of the Gate Bomb that was able to reach down to ground level. The energies weren't much this far away from the bomb, and what did reach them quickly dissipitated against the barrier. When the bright light faded, Victor dropped the barrier and looked around. Lyunea was gone... they had won. "I can't believe it... we actually pulled it off..." What was even better was that Frieza was down on the ground, and didn't show any signs of being able to fight. "Looks like this worked out well. Edward... get over to that main group and call everyone using your telepathy. Once everyone's gathered, we'll use the Anchor to return to AniDimensional." Victor looked at Heather. "You'll have to come with us if you want out of this dimension. Once we're back at HQ, we can find a way to get you home."
Edward grinned as everything seemed to be drawing to a close. He ran over to where the group that had been fighting the soldiers on foot were, and looked around. "Everyone, just sit tight for right now. In a few minutes, we'll be back at Headquarters." Edward then looked up at the sky, and put out a telepathic message to everone in the battlefield. Everyone... come to my location. We'll be leaving for Headquarters soon. Edward reached into one of his poncho pockets and retrieved the Anchor. He looked back up at the sky... and his face turned white. He could just barely make out the shape of a small ship.
The woman smiled as she looked at the monitor. It showed a close-up image of Victor and a girl below them... and the others were off in another part of the battlefield. Sensors showed they didn't have much to fight with now that whatever that thing had been had nearly wiped them all out. "Rico... Jakart... begin casting Flame Arrow. And aim for the girl." The two men looked back at the woman, saluting. "Yes ma'am."
What followed happened quickly. There was a bright red flash from up in the sky as the MAT (Magic Amplification and Transfer) device on the Timeship Yugi transfered and amplified three Flame Arrow spells and fired them down at the ground... all at Heather. The red light caught Victor's eyes and he looked up and saw the spells coming. "SHIT! HEATHER!" Without waiting for an answer, he dived into the girl, throwing her out of the way. All three spells struck Victor in the back, pummeling him into the ground and leaving a nasty burn on his back.
The woman laughed with triumph. "I KNEW IT! We got him. Rico... come with me. Jakart, fly this baby back to the Four Horsemen. We'll meet you there." Jakart nodded. Rico and the woman disappeared in the light of a teleportation spell.
The two reappeared on the ground, next to Victor. Victor looked up and nearly had a heart attack. "VALANDRA! What are you doing here!?" Victor scrambled to his feet, but it was obvious the battle with Lyunea and that last attack had done the job. He was doubled over, blood seeping out of several portions of his body, and something seemed off about the allignment of his left leg. Valandra laughed. "You've got to be kidding. Just give up. There's no way to resist any more. Rico!" On command, Rico tackled Victor, pinning him to the ground. Valandra then took out a small device, and opened up a Time Gate. Rico picked up Victor, pretty easily since the young man had almost no energy left, and forced him into the Gate. However, Victor wasn't about to go in with just a whisper. "EDWARD! TAKE THIS TO LUCCA!" Victor ripped off his Scanner, and tossed it to Edward, who had just begun to run towards him. The device landed on the rocky ground, bouncing three times before coming to rest. Rico took the opportunity to force Victor into the gate, and Valandra followed. Right before she left, she wondered. Lucca... could that be... nah... The Gate closed behind them, leaving AniDimensional minus one Sorcerer.
Edward picked up the Scanner, and blinked. It has all happened so quickly. "Dammit..."
