In the past, white dobermans were not of breed type. Proper breeding by white breeders looking to bring the white dobes closer to breed type has resulted in much improvement and yes now there ARE whites that have excellent conformation. Unfortunately, alot of DPCA members would rather stick to the original thoughts that the whites are deleterious to the breed as a whole.
