Subject: Unfortunately some more sad news, I am truly sorry... Author: Lilly [ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ] Date Posted: 18:59:45 07/15/03 Tue Hello Everyone, I am sorry to post some more sad news, but Gils Aukstikalnis aka Princess “Baby” Jane has just recently learned that she has to have some major surgery done. If it doesn’t occur in the next two weeks, it will be done by August 11th. The recovery period is at least six weeks… so… unfortunately Gils will not be back at King Richard’s Faire this year. She will be KRF as soon as possible visiting us (hopefully by late September at the earliest). I am posting this in hope that you can send her your good vibes and well wishes for a safe operation and a speedy recovery so she can return to us. Gils is not really upset about the surgery; she is more upset about how she won’t be with us for the whole time. Unfortunately I had already written her part as being in a full body cast with hilarity ensuing, so she won't be doing much dancing. But she will be back. Just not moving much. Actually, not at all. Anywho, thank you for updating everyone. Indeed her surgery has been pushed up, so although she maybe very sore and possibly taking it easy the first couple of weekends, she still will be there.
