"It's great to get in a good joke, embarrass the hell out of patron, get nice remarks about the musical, but it's great to really please just one person in a way that she will remember at least a week or so. (I know kids - a week is a lifetime). "

Hey Heyo, don't be too sure she will ever forget that ...

I have a vivid memory of being on my dad's shoulders after seeing peter pan on broadway with sandy duncan..and my mother getting autographs for me of the cast....and i remember "Captain HOOk" (christopher hewitt=tv's mr belvedere) whispering something to my mother and her pointing up to me and then him saying with a sly grin in his english accent..."Hello... ERRRIN"... I remember the feeling i had when i found out captain hook "knew me".... and that memory is from when I was 3!

I only wish i knew about renaissance faires when i was a little kid...i needed that kind of outlet for my imagination...thank god my dad finally let me in on the "secret" when I was 17 ...."hey erin, i think there is a something ya might like in a place called sterling forest..."

Never underestimate how much of a memory you are possibly making for a little kid... it may become one of their first and fondest memories.
