I used a party of Eiko,Amarant,Quina and Vivi to beat him,which is why it might have been a little easier,with Amarant around to dish some decent physical damage.My characters were around level 24 or so,though Zidane and his team were already over level 32.Don't worry too much,like I said,this unpowered stone slab is actually a lot easier than that Ark boss in Ouillvert(sp?),as long as you keep healing and hitting.P.S.,you DID remember to steal the Holy Lance for Freya from Ark,didn't you?With it,you could use Freya to whup the Grand Dragon's butt for easy Exp,not to mention the fact our fave Dragoon would become the strongest fighter for a fair bit of Disc 3(at least until the end of Ipsen Castle).
