Rebecca sighed, eyes turining to the overcast sky. She blinked, as small raindrops fell, and she sighed again, wrapping her arms around her. Her green sweater was warm, but not warm when it was wet. But it was a long walk home, and no matter what she did, she would end up soaked anyway, so she decided to press on.

Soon her hair was dripping, and she wrapped her arms around herself - cold. She had been searching all day for Jelly - her new dog that she got just last week. The front door was unlocked last night, and not shut properly, so somehow the winds from last night's storm had blown it open, and Jelly had run away and gotten lost.

So Rebecca searched all day for Jelly, hoping to find her beloved new chihuahua. She turned down into the dim alley, knowing this was a good place to look, as there were many stray dogs down here. Maybe Jelly had found shelter with others dogs in the alley way.

There certinly was less rain down here, and she smiled, despite the dim, sad surroundings. Jelly! She called, hoping the bouncy, happy chihuahua would bounce out of an old cardbord box, diamondite collar glistening in the low light.

Jelly! Here girl! I got you a little sweater off the internet! Please come home Jelly! Jelly! She called, looking about, hoping her puppy was somewhere here.
