Speaking the Language of Interfaith

It is with hope that the Interfaith community comes together to speak about the issues that concern us all. Whether it is spirituality or politics, if it affects the well-being of humanity it is a spiritual concern. When I began studying esoteric philosophy, I learned about ages past, when the earth was ravaged by wars causing cataclysms radiating throughout the worlds and beyond into the universe. We study about levels of being and beings who reside upon various planes of existence. We study about transference of thought. We are well aware now that much of disease is stress on the body, mind and spirit.

Psychological and spiritual, as well as physical factors play an integral role in both causing and healing of misalignments of the physical and auric body and its energy points. All of this bears witness for the testimony that the effects of war on humanity begets further distress on humanity at large, whether directly or passively involved in that struggle. This is an obvious statement when spoken in terms of living within the war zone.

How can we not be globally affected? We cannot. As lightworkers we know that we are all part of the whole, and we cannot, Not be affected by one another no matter the distance between us in terms of miles or beliefs. As people of different faiths come together to discuss issues that affect us, we clear a path for Understanding to occur within us. It is through the spirit of Understanding that realization turns to practice as we commune together in our diverse faiths. The global community that we create demonstrates the possibility of peace on earth. The subject or issues that bring the global community together are not as important as the act of dialogue in itself. It is anticipated by those who do not want this to occur, that we will find ways and means to stop talking to one another. As the old saying goes, "divide and conquer" is the surest way to play upon the nerves of an already nervous population. Dialoguing together and speaking our truths, respecting others for their views and beliefs are paramount in clearing the way to resolving complex issues that rage at all of our borders. Racism and sexism depends on this creed. Stifling the population by playing on fear is as old as war itself.

Many of us are involved in various groups within our communities. It is up to us to decide how best to fit this process of Understanding the diversity that is around us within our groups so that we will not only feel it within, but practice it without and "Walk our Talk". I welcome responses on possibilities and positive re-enforcement for this to occur in our communities. Let's dialogue for peace and Understanding as if there is no tomorrow.
