What the motherless, plagued...

Excuse me. Assuming that at least one other person who comes here still watches like I do, I have to ask. Did anyone else's mind scream "Gosh, this looks familiar" during that Bo/Eve scene? I wanted to kill my television. It was an exact repeat of Gabrielle's death without the death. THAT'S how Bo's rescue of Gabrielle should have gone. He should have gotten to her just in time and she should have woken up. And she should have been alive. She should have stayed. Alive.

Damnit.

What is wrong with this show? Does anyone *up there* really belive that anyone gives a rat's ass what happens to Eve McBain? Who the friggen hell cares about her? She just showed up on the show. She's not even under contract. She never has been. Why, then, the huge daring rescue scene? I personally would have preferred to keep my lunch down, but then again maybe some people who watch the show would rather not so who knows. Maybe next time Bo can save someone else we don't care about. Like Paul. Or the bartender at the Palace. Or that passing guy who waved at the camera last week. Maybe he can even start dating that cop that handed him a file a few months ago. Or maybe he could take a new prostitute every week. Yeah, that's what the audience wants. Bo and EnterNameHere, against all the odds, weathering all storms together, the police commissioner and his whore. It's a wonderful thing.

Stink.

I nearly put my foot through the television right there. "This is great." It's just another way for MM to add insult to injury and really stick it to us. Way to throw it in our faces, a*!^%&*. Maybe next time you could just give us a nice papercut with your razor-sharp wit and rub some lemon juice on it. Or pour acid in our eyes. Mmm, desolation. "My specialty!"

I'm going to go do something less painless. Biology can't hurt...
