Here is the article in the latest SID about how this campaign to save Fiona/Gabrielle is just snowballing. See... what some boras can't understand is that the internet is only a very SMALL percent of the total fan population and so the petition out there is not what is being guaged for the amount of fans in on this. It's gauged by the amount of "MAIL.....WRITING IN THAT IS DONE". I thought they were smarter than that. And Fiona's fan mail is off the flippin charts as is TPTB about this whole thing. Even without the petition, it would still be this huge. You don't need a petition to have mad fans writing in to TPTB and the actor. Course if it was HBS and over 70,000 fans were writing in, it'd be true I bet? But not FH. Nope, not her. Can't be true about her. You people are morons.

Furious Fiona Fans Fight To Keep Gabrielle Alive!

In early December, as Fiona Hutchison taped her final scenes as OLTL's Gabrielle, her many and vocal fans were busy bombarding ABC with phone calls, letters and an aggressive e-mail campaign to somehow, some way keep the actress on the show.
At press time, more than 70,000 fans had joined the grassroots effort to persuade ABC to reverse the decisino to let Hutchison go. Among their numerous tactics: a petition that has been circulating the internet (and posted at geocities.com/Hollywood/Bungalow/5575),handwritten letters sent via Fed Ex to ABC executives, cereal boxes (urging them NOT to have Gabrielle murdered by the Music Box serial killer), Band_Aids urging them to fix their "boo-boo" and more.
Buoyed by ABC's decision to hold onto Hutchison's on-screen son, Nathaniel Martson (Al), in response to fan outcry, the campaign is gaining momentum across the U.S. and Canada. "We are not giving up," says the group's literature. As Soaps In Depth went to press, however, there were no plans to bring the actress back. (YET;)

There is a picture of Bo and Gabrielle and it's the picture of them in the hospital when he proposes to her and the caption says, "Hutchison's fans would hate to see Bo bury another sweetheart." And so does RSW. Out of his mouth......."This is character assassination!" The man, folks, is not a happy camper. We'll see how everything goes from here on out.

Oh and this huge campaign is not going unnoticed by the other networks either folks. They are VERY aware of it and realize Fiona has a HUGE following and they already know how great an actress she is. She just can't go anywhere until after April when her contract is up. Come April, she'll be snatched up by someone great. And soon, very soon this regime at OLTL will be gone too. They don't last forever and sooner rather than later it's going to happen. So, Fiona/Gabrielle CAN come back. It's so not impossible. Keep up the campaign Fiona fans!

BoandGabrielleFan(new poster by the way. Know some "stuff" about the actors too. I know for a fact RSW did say that. He's not happy.) I love Gabrielle and Bo and Gabrielle and am FURIOUS with the decision to let Fiona go.)

Awesome! Hey, does anyone know if they're still selling this in stores?? I really want to have a copy of it. If not, can someone who has it either scan it and email it to me, or mail it to me and I'll scan it and send it back?? I'd love to see the picture :)

Thanks BoandGabrielleFan for posting that here! It's SO great how much this thing is taking off and how many fans are participating in the fight to save Gabrielle/Fiona.

And all your other comments were right on the money too. Just gotta ignore those people. They're rude and spiteful and that's just the way it is. They'll never change.

But Woohoo for Fiona! She's gonna go somewhere FABULOUS. OLTL's loss someone elses MAJOR gain.
