.the midnight brute quickly ran to the highest rock he could find. getting to the top of it was hard work for his pads but they were swift and tough. while running his plume bounced up and down and once he got to the top it gently touched the hard solid layer of rock. he looked over Glacier Forest and could see the whole pack. taking a deep breath, he readied himself for an important message. howling, he sent out a deep note that soon become higher. it was a pretty long song because he wanted to make sure everyone got it. it said: ATTENTION!! THERE IS ARE EXTREME STORMS COMING OVERHEAD SO EVERYONE PLEASE GO TO THE DENS!! GO TO KONA'S DEN SO WE CAN DO A HEADCOUNT AND MAKE SURE THAT EVERYONE IS HERE. ONCE THE STORM PASSES WE SHALL HAVE A PACK HUNT FOR WE HAVE NO FOOD. I REPEAT: GO TO KONA'S DEN UNTIL THE STROMS PASS AND THEN WE SHALL HAVE A PACK HUNT!! finishing his song, it fades away into the distance and into the many ears of the pack members to make sure that they all got the message. brute looked over the pack while standing tall, his ears erict and listening and his tail up and a little curved over his back. lobes swerve every once in a while to see if he could hear anything else besides his continuing howls of attention. quickly he got to his senses and turned sharply around and dashed back down the rock and t'wards Kona's den. after a few minutes of running, he panted and started to feel small drops of rain. almost to Kona's den it pretty much started to pour down on him.i better get to Kona's den soon... he thought to himself. he just hoped the others would hear the message. when he got to his mate's den he skidded to a stop and the mudd splashed and got his paws muddy but he didn't care 'bout that. all he cared for was the pack's safety and his mate's saftey. he looked to the rght and saw a tree. knowing what to do, he pulled his forelimbs up on the bark on it and started to scratch out a message that read: COME ALL TO KONA'S DEN SO WE CAN DO A HEAD COUNT. HURRY! was all it said. little pieces of bark fell to the muddy ground but the rain soon washed it away. he then cantered swiftly into Kona's den, bringing his mudd tracks in with him.
