OKAY, I have been a huge fan of the X-BOX from day one. I never buy a system before i research it. I take into account all factors. The day before i went to buy my x-box i almost decided to buy a ps2. However the reasons why i chose the x-box are as follows.
1) It is a brand new system that im eager to try out.
2) The controllers are more advanced then PS2, giving more command capability to games.
3) The save feature of X-box. I saw a complaint about PS2 coming pre packaged with a DVD, However for a mere 20 dollars you get a remote and dvd power for the x-box. ( same price as a memory card for PS2 ) The x-box comes with virtually enough storage that i will never have to buy a memory card or keep track of any.
4) It comes 4 player ready to go, unlike multi tap on PS2
5) You can create your own music, to play on your favorite games. ( no more shitty game tracks )
6) HALO
7) The graphics capability totally blows the PS2 out of the water. (play a game on PS2 and then play the same game on x-box youll see!!! )
8) Its made by microsoft, yeah yeah fuck microsoft and bill gates blah blah. He has a good thing going for him i suppose. Point being.... If microsoft comes out with a video game console they are going to make sure it rocks, they know theres money to be made in the market and they are going to do what it takes to manufacture a supberb system.
9) Most of the truly great games that will make X-box a legend are only now starting to come out. Playstation was able to launch earlier so X-box was forced to compete pre-mature.
10) which is why PS2 has so much more of a game selection, they were ready ahead of time. Not to mention that PS2 is just an upgrade from the extinct playstation. Enabling game creators to pump out games faster because the technology already exists.
11) X-box comes with cd playing capability. You say yeah so does ps2, but ps2 does not have a visual program with it, nor can you burn songs to its harddrive. ohh wait ps2 doesnt have a hard drive. bringing me to number 12.
12) X-box has a freaking Hard Drive, Yeah a Hard Drive, A video game console with a hard drive. THAT HAS POWER WRITTEN ALL OVER IT.
See i could sit here and come up with more and more reasons but honestly im tired of writing and i think my point has been made. X-box is hear to stay, gamers that talk down on it are only missing out, get off the bandwagon and give it a shot. I promise you wont be let down.
